Carolyn Evans Hammond is a long-standing wine critic. She hosts The Wine Find Talks on YouTube and The Wine Find travel TV show on ROKU on the Access Luxury channel. Each week, she contributes a wine column to the Toronto Star (syndicated) and regularly conducts private tastings in person and virtually. As a seasoned wine educator, judge and media personality with 20+ years of journalism experience, Carolyn believes living well doesn't have to be pricy or pretentious. It just takes a little know how--and maybe a corkscrew. And she's on a mission to find you your next great wine.

Over the years, she has appeared on CNN International, BON TV (China), GoingGlobalTV.com, CHCH TV, Canada AM, and CITY-TV. She has been a guest on radio stations all over the U.S. And she has written for top publications including Decanter, Wine Spectator, Wine & Spirit International, The Times (London), Maclean’s and others.

She is a longstanding member of the Circle of Wine Writers, holds the Diploma from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in the UK, and is passionate about wine.

PRIVATE WINE TASTINGS

Carolyn Evans Hammond is delighted to offer private tastings in person, and virtually.

Booking virtual tastings is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

1.      Agree a date, time and wine for the event and send her the names and mailing addresses of participants.  She can recommend a range of brilliant bottles to choose from.

2.      The wine packed and delivered to participants’ homes in time for the tasting, and she sends you a zoom link for the event to share with participants. Right now, this is only available in Ontario, Canada.

3.      All parties convene with her at the agreed time/date for the hour-long virtual tasting on the Zoom platform.

Tastings kick off with an introduction to the region, wine style and winery. Then, she leads participants through a tutored tasting of the wine. Guests ask questions along the way and are invited to suggest food pairings for the wine.  Then, a short question/answer period follows before wrapping up.
